Not on view
With his tour-de-force fashion intelligence, Versace dissects and explodes the sari into separate color planes. The cropped yellow tee functions as a choli under a completely deconstrcted sari that merges with punk via its safety-pin connectors and strident color. The diagonal one-shouldered top, a vestige of the sari's spiralling finish, has been transmogrified into Versace's sophisticated Milanese sensuality.
