Brown covers with gold lettering. 12 monthly parts unbound. Each has a brown paper cover, a sheet of explanatory text that gives artist's names, titles and descriptions, and three etchings. The introduction to part 1 is dated December 1883, suggesting that the works were issued in 1884.
