25 Years of Korean Art at The Met

Celebrate 25 years of exhibitions in The Met’s Arts of Korea gallery with this illustrated timeline. Established in 1998, the Arts of Korea gallery presents the many facets of Korea's cultural and artistic traditions encompassing all media ceramics, painting, sculpture, metalwork, lacquer, and textile from about the fourth century B.C. through today.

The artist's works raise the visibility of migrant workers in the United States, using modern materials to convey themes of memory, migration, and mobility.
