It's only fitting that the four women of the Aizuri Quartet—2017–18 Quartet in Residence at The Met—take visual art as their muse. Named after aizuri-e, a style of mostly blue Japanese woodblock printing noted for its moody expressiveness, the fiery quartet offers up the musical equivalent of that and more in this series of electrifying concerts across The Met's venues.
