In conjunction with the exhibition The Sau-Wing Lam Collection of Rare Italian Stringed Instruments, on view December 18, 2012–June 30, 2013, Paolo Bodini, President, Fondazione Stradivari, outlines the revival of the violin-making traditions of Cremona, which witnessed a revival in the 1930s. They city is currently the home of the Foundazione Stradivari, as well as the host of a violin-making school.
