Here's a #MetKids Tip: Wandering the galleries is a great way to encounter something unexpected. If you bring a phone or tablet, you can use the #MetKids digital feature to discover fun facts and videos about the art you see! Curious about something you found in the Museum? Have a parent help you email your questions to metkids@metmuseum.org, and we'll do our best to answer them on the blog.

Can't make it to the Museum next week? Celebrate Presidents' Day by making a soundscape based on the largest painting at the Met—Emmanuel Leutze's Washington Crossing the Delaware! With friends or family members, take turns making a sound to go along with this scene. Imagine the ice cracking, wind blowing, and the sounds and voices you might hear from people and animals. If you're feeling tech savvy, you can even record it! Where will your soundscape take you?
