Building the #MetKids Time Machine

«As you may know by now, #MetKids was made for, with, and by kids. That means that when we decided to make a time machine to explore the Met's collection, we needed to hear from kids like you about what it would look like and how it would work. »

Our trusty #MetKids Advisors rose to the challenge, drawing and sketching a world of time-travel devices. Countless clocks, buttons, gears, maps, and switches later, we had a good idea of what you wanted to see, and understood the importance of time traveling through millennia (that's a cool word that means thousands of years) in style.
