Kirtlington Park, Oxfordshire: View of the Dining Room
This drawing documents the history of the Kirtlington Park dining room, showing the table set for tea in 1876, with its original eighteenth-century dining chairs and side table in place. At this date, the ceiling was still its original yellow and cream colors, while the walls had been repainted a light green. A large Turkish carpet covers most of the wooden floor.
