带底座的储物柜
在一批据信出自细木工匠扬·范·梅克伦之手的已知类似作品中，这件储物柜是最小而且图案最丰富的；梅克伦专为阿姆斯特丹的上层人士制作豪华镶嵌家具。这件储物柜放在开放式的底座上，有简单的盒子似的结构，表面饰有精美的大花束。通过巧妙地选择伏牛花木这样的亮黄色木料来刻画黄水仙，以及给几乎呈白色的冬青染了自然的颜料（虽然不怎么持久）来加强效果等方式，范·梅克伦实现了既丰富又自然的色调表现，与同一时代的静物绘画相呼应。
