精神病院的走廊

法国圣雷米一座精神病院中的一条长廊骤然远去，一个微小的男子形象在画面中朝一道门走去，这个让人萦绕于心的画面是梵高对这个机构最有力的描绘，他从1889年5月到1890年5月在这里生活了一年，此后不久就结束了他的生命。梵高把这幅大得不同寻常而且色彩斑斓的画送到他弟弟提奥那里去，用图画告诉他自己的周遭环境。明亮的酸性色彩以大胆的排线形式表现出来，创造出一种不断回响的共振；大幅度缩窄的透视点好像一把钳子，正要逼近画面中心的人物。
