礼服
这套服装配有两件可替换的上衣，代表着高级时装中难得一见的实用主义。重要的礼服通常都与两件上衣一同流传下来，一般是为日间和晚餐所用，或者是为晚餐和晚间招待会所用。臃肿的钟形裙摆由一层层褶皱覆盖在多层绷紧的衬裙上，这是1850年代十分新潮的款式。虽然这件礼服的制作日期可以确认，但其出产国家却不那么容易确定。由于当时出现了大量用以传达最新服装款式的模板，因此巴黎出现的新式样很快就能传播到别处，任何有类似布料的地方都能及时复制。
