Image derived from Rowlandson's "A Fresh Breeze" (Aug. 4, 1789) (the latter shows the royal family on board a vessel with the sail is inscribed "Southampton Frigate," and shows the king, queen, two princesses and beefeaters, all seasick.
This variation was etched by Rowlandson's friend, the young artist Charles Catton, with the passengers transformed into non-royals (first pub. by W. Hinton , 1784).
