Matteo de' Pasti was an Italian medallist, architect, painter, and illuminator. The obverse presents a portrait of Benedetto de’ Pasti,
canon of Verona and brother of the medalist, and the reverse shows an archer shooting arrows at a rock. This medal has been assigned to Matteo’s mature phase and dated to about 1453 – 56. The piece is probably an old aftercast, possibly from the sixteenth century.
