Not on view

This suggestion for a leaded glass disk was commissioned by Joseph K. White (1869–after 1940), a steel merchant of Capitol City Pipe and Pipe Bending Company and Harrisburg Bar Mill Company. The disk was made for a ceiling light fixture, presumably for his home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The turquoise and purple jewel tones, floral details, and gold ogee and scalloped arches all reference Islamic decorative schemes.
