Plate 2 to series of etchings of Cortona's fresco and its stucco framework in the Gallery of Aeneas, Palazzo Pamphili, Rome. Cesi was commissioned to draw and etch the decorations of the Gallery by Prince Camillo Pamphili, who paid him on January 29, 1661.
