Rectangular design for the decoration of a tobacco box. In the middle a rectangular compartment shows a scene with two couples dancing in the outdoors to the music of a violinist. All figures have been rendered to look like dwarfs. The surrounding frame is decorated with strapwork and has attributes pertaining to music and theatre interspersed between it.
