Michael Glancy American

Not on view

In the 1970s Glancy studied at the Rhode Island School of Design with glass master Dale Chihuly. Since then his work has developed a marked affinity for scientific concepts. The title of this work means a force that has been joined to something through its weight and motion. In Melding Impetus metal has been fused with blown and industrial glass through the process of electroforming.
