Plate 1 of a series of six designs for chimney-places. This design presents a chimney over which there is an rounded arched mirror. Over this mirror is a small mask. On both sides, at the top, are circular spaces with the letter A, defined by the inscription at the bottom of the design as spaces for paintings.
