Plate 4 of a set of eight circular box lids designs with figures in landscapes. The plate accomodates two designs.
The design on the left shows a right-facing man offering a basket of flowers to his lover.
The design on the right shows a man romancing a woman while she has a baby on her lap and a young child at her feet. On the left side of the design, an older child is building a card tower.
