Plate 1 of a series of designs for braziers, tables and other silverware works. The left side of the design shows a brazier supported by a faun. On the right side, the brazier is supported by a half figure of a woman. Her lower half is scrolling foliage and she is pointing at the title of the series written on a drapery. On the plate are also grotesque masks, a sphinx, a griffin and other designs for braziers incorporating half figures.
