Drawing, design for a man's costume for the musical 'At Home Abroad', premiered in Broadway, New York, on 19 September 1935, with stage production and scenic design by Vincente Minnelli. The costume, used for the number 'Got a Brand New Suit', consists of a blue suit with gray vest, hat, and spats, worn over a pink shirt with white stripes on the collar, and a purple tie. A yellow flower is on the lapel, and matching yellow gloves cover the hands. A white pocket square with purple borders decorates the left side of the chest. The shoes are gray with brown point and heel. A cigar is held on the right hand; the left hand is inside the trouser's pocket, and from the forearm hangs a white cane. The male actor represented with the costume has dark skin.
