Saturnino Cedillo was a revolutionary general who supported the progressive president Lázaro Cárdenas but gradually became estranged from him. This print visualizes the support that foreign capitalists gave Cedillo, en-couraging him to take up arms against Cárdenas. In May 1938, Cedillo rose in revolt and was killed.
