Twelfth plate of the second series of the pochoir textile pattern book, titled "Studio d'arts décoratifs", with Art Deco textile designs created by Nicolas Sorokine and published in Paris by Armand Guérinet, probably in the second half of the 1920s or the early 1930s. The series consists of a title page with index and 12 plates with designs numbered 1-12, each with numerous designs, bound with dark blue linen boards. The designs contain a variety of geometric motifs, birds and flowers, all typical of the Art Deco style, which was characterized by its eclecticism, drawing from a variety of sources that sought to combine old European design traditions with the modern style diffused by avant-garde art, while also reflecting the romantic fascination with early Egyptian and Meso-American "exotic" cultures promoted by archaeological discoveries of the times.

This plate consists of fsix designs for backgrounds with semi-abstract floral motifs and geometric patterns. The first design is made up of semi-abstract flowers executed with shades of pink over a black ground upon which stand out fragmented vertical stripes rendered with green and pink diagonal stripes. The second design is made up of cream scrolling motifs, spirals, circles, squares and triangles over an orange ground. The third design is made up of alternating horizontal garlands of black stylized flowers and leaves and red semi-abstract flowers and leaves over a blue ground with vertical gray "glitched" lines. The fourth design is consists of alternating horizontal strips with abstract motifs made up of triangles, parallellograms and scrolls executed with dark green and tan over an off-white ground. The fifth design is made up of green squares with orange, white and purple accents, some with offsetting rows of orange triangles, and semi-abstract fruits (?) with green bodies with small triangular orange thorns on purple stems with leaves on an off-white ground. The final design is made up of semi-abstract flowers and leaves and rows of triangles and rectangles colored with black and olive green over a cream ground.
