34th plate of album with 60 19th-century costume plates and 1 drawing of mostly women's historical costumes, featuring a variety of designs for traditional costumes from different parts of the world, as well as costumes for literary characters, including Esmeralda. This plate consists of a costume for a female Rural Policeman, made up of a white shirt with ruffled cuffs, an orange gilet and a blue jacket, both with golden buttons, and a cream, calf-length skirt with four horizontal brown stripes on the bottom, with a white over-skiert with scrolling brown branches with pink roses, tied to the right side of the woman's waist. The neck of the shirt is decorated with a red bow, and she wears a white band around her chest, with an oval-shaped golden insignia. A matching golden insignia is tied around her arm with a blue strap. She wears a black police hat over her short, blonde hair, and carries a sword with golden handle and jacket behind her back. She wears dark blue stockings and brown-and-black boots.
