Eighteenth plate of album with 20 pochoir pattern plates, titled "Floréal: Dessins & Coloris Nouveaux" (Floreal: New Designs and Colors), created by Emile-Allain Séguy and published in Paris by A. Calavas in 1925 or earlier. The plate contains four ornamental designs, possibly for textiles or wallpapers, with lively, semi-abstract motifs inspired from nature. The first design is made up of alternating rows of semi-abstract exotic flowers, colored with red, purple, and green, and with paisley shapes as anthers, colored with purple, white, and mint green, on a dark bluish-gray ground. The second design is made up of a vertical, undulating garland with scrolling leaves, outlined with purple, and containing eye shapes, colored with white, green, and gold, and semi-abstract fruits, colored with green, purple, and gold, and outlined with black, on a light green background with vertical purple stripes. The third design is made up of semi-abstract flowers, colored with purple and pastel yellow, on thin stems flanked by two scale-shaped leaves, colored with red, and semi-abstract sunbursts, colored with shades of green and red, on an orange ground with checks made with thin, gold, intermittent lines. The fourth design is made up of a horizontal, undulating garland with semi-abstract, brown leaves and semi-abstract, red and blue roses, on a green ground.
