Eleventh plate of album with 20 pochoir pattern plates, titled "Samarkande: 20 Compositions en couleurs dans le Style oriental" (Samarkand: 20 Color Compositions in the Oriental Style), created by E. A. Séguy and published in Paris by Charles Massin around 1914, presenting an ornamental design, probably for textiles or wallpapers, with semi-abstract flower motifs, inspired on the Oriental styles created by the artists of Samarkand. The design is made up of alternating rows of stylized trees with undulating trunks and scrolling branches, colored with maroon and small, pastel green spots, with small, pastel green leaves, and surrounded by semi-abstract clouds with offsetting thorns, colored with gold, standing on abstract, purple patches with light green spots, framed by maroon branches with offsetting thorns.
