Two Panels with Flower Designs
The floral patterns on the two fragmentary panels (most likely components of a piece of furniture) are likewise representative of the vogue for the floral style that peaked in Mughal India during the seventeenth century. The carefully depicted flowers can be identified as white lily, blue morning glory, red roses, blue hyacinth, and pink dianthus (or carnation).
