In the format of a dollar bill, with "One" spelled out in ornamental letters at left and lower right, and the numeral "1" at upper right (these refer to the store's address, 1 Chartres Street, New Orleans). Emblematic figure of an eagle above, and a woman representing Plenty, holding a corucopia at right. Surrounding text advertises the company's wares.
"D'Arcy / Chatres [sic] St. New Orleans / The most fastidious taste may be suited at this Emporium of Fashion, and at moderate prices. The latest Paris, and American styles received direct. The attention of the Ladies is particularly directed to the elegant Sales Room expressly set apart for the sale of Children's Clothing. J. Stewart Agr. / Cash paid for Shipping Furs / D.Arcy."
