Not on view

Boughton here represents a young woman in a spring outfit that includes a bonnet decorated with ribbons. She walks through a wood and carries a basket heaped with blossoming branches as light snow begins to fall. The artist based his image on a multi-figured composition exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1877 titled "Snow in Spring."
