Bone book, E. K.
Realistic closed book charm, incised in a traditional bookbinding design with four large corners on both covers. The lines which make the borders and corners are filled with red wax; decorative dots, central motifs are filled with black wax. The front cover has the "E.K" and the back has two intersecting curves, similar to an infinity motif. The rounded spine has two raised bands, one thick (top), one thin (bottom). -- description by Mindell Dubansky in consultation with Lynn Heckman
