Fan
This brisé fan- made only of sticks without a decorated leaf of paper, fabric or parchment- is in outstanding condition. It is a lovely example of its type: the paper-thin ivory has been delicately carved and pierced to a lace-like effect, vibrantly decorated with gilding and painting.
