Decanter

Bohemian

On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 704

American consumers were drawn to imported blown-glass decanters from Europe, particularly from England. The interlaced garland that surrounds the thickest part of each decanter was one of the most popular patterns, cut into the glass with a copper wheel.
