Illustrated endpapers, half title, frontispiece (full-page color plate), illustrated title page, introduction, contents, list of illustrations, pp. 1-(224) including 12 full-page color plates, 19 full-page black-and-white plates, 8 black-and-white in-text illustrations, and 38 additional black-and-white illustrations. Bound in green cloth-covered boards; illustration pasted onto front cover; title and illustrator stamped in black on front cover; title, illustrator, and New York publisher stamped in black on spine.
