Album containing 7 out of a series comprised of 15 lithographs depicting the translation of the remains of Emperor Napoleon from the Island of Saint Helen to Paris in 1840. The plates appear to have been bound out of order and contain one plate from a different series of the same year, 'Funérailles de l'Empereur Napoléon'. The subjects represented are : 'Le Bateau Catafalque de Napoléon'; 'Le Char Funèbre de Napoléon'; 'Entrée du Convoi de Napoléon à Paris'; 'Débarquement des Cendres de Napoléon'; 'Arrivée du Cortège Funèbre de Napoléon aux Invalides'; 'Passage du Cortège dans les Champs Élysées'; 'Catafalque et Chapelle Ardente de Napoléon'.
