Not on view

The design of this textile fragment is a repeated pattern consisting of rows of facing palmettes and trefoil motifs, printed in gold on a tan ground. Another fragment of the same textile (now in the Abegg Stiftung Museum, Switzerland) bears an embroidered tiraz band inscribed with the name of the vizier Hamid b. al-ʿAbbas.
