Cup
This cup is simply decorated with a band of alternating horizontal and vertical lozenges created by relief-cutting. The base was cut using the same technique and contains a protruding disk with two surrounding concentric circles. Similar decorations can be seen on fragments found in Samarra, the Abbasid capital in the ninth century.
