Medal: Bust of Massimiano Gonzaga
Pastorino de Pastorini was an Italian medallist, glass painter and die engraver. One of the most prolific Italian medallists, he produced around 200 medals. He was active in Ferrara, Bologna, Novellara, and Florence. The obverse presents a portrait of Massimilano Gonzaga, marquess of Luzzara (before 1524 – 78) in armor; the reverse is blank. It is a contemporary cast.
