Returned to lender
This work of art was on loan to the museum and has since been returned to its lender.
This uniquely decorated storage jar must have held something of significance to its owner. Hand-painted curves in red join functional and decorative handles and medallions with stylized faces. Two other medallions display reliefs of a female figure similar to those on coins and mosaics.
