The Diamond Sutra
By the late Ming dynasty, when this copy of the Diamond Sutra was produced, most Buddhist scriptures were printed rather than written by hand. This unusual sutra features handwritten red text and hand-painted color illustrations mixed with woodblock-printed sections of text.
