Trade cards from the "Military Caramels" series (E5), issued 1910's by two companies, Philadelphia Caramel Company and John J. Dockman & Son. The cards released by both companies are the same on rectos, with different verso text. Burdick affixed the cards to the original album page so that their versos are not visible. It is not known whether this card was produced by Dockman or the Philadelphia Caramel Co. Burdick did, however, include an example of both versions of card versos (Burdick 314, E5.1 and Burdick 314, E5.2).
