Reverse copy of plate 4 from the series of eight plates by Hans Vredeman de Vries with perspective views of gardens with parterres, originally published by Philips Galle, ca. 1587. This plate belongs to a series of reverse copies etched by Michel Birbaum and published in 1615 by Birbaum or Johan Bussemacher.
