Romulus at right rising from his throne and ordering his soldiers to search for the Sabines
Copy in reverse of an engraving by Cherubino Alberti, which was the first in a set of three prints depicting a frieze by Polidoro da Caravaggio. This sheet is cut off at right, excluding a female figure standing above a roundel that is part Alberti's print. Verso not visible as print is laid to another sheet of paper.
