Three girls with flower backdrop
Black and white photograph in which three female figures stand in a studio setting. They are fully frontal with the middle woman’s right arm resting on the shoulder of her friend. The outer women each drape their inner arm on the opposite shoulder of the central figure. They wear matching dresses which feature a checkerboard pattern around the neck, a leaf and bird pattern in the body, and horizontal pinstripes at the base of the skirt. Their coiffures are accented by head wraps and caps. Their eyes directly return the gaze of the viewer as they stand before a fabric backdrop of flowers.
