This work of art was on loan to the museum and has since been returned to its lender.Biscuit-porcelain figure groups typically decorated the dessert table, often arranged on a mirrored centerpiece. Louis XVI gave this mythological group to Gustav III in 1784, together with other figures of celebrated men and busts of the king and queen.
