Fifth plate of album with 20 pochoir pattern plates, titled "Floréal: Dessins & Coloris Nouveaux" (Floreal: New Designs and Colors), created by Emile-Allain Séguy and published in Paris by A. Calavas in 1925 or earlier. The plate contains four ornamental designs, possibly for textiles or wallpapers, with lively, semi-abstract motifs inspired from nature. The first design is made up of a vertical strip of undulating, dark blue branches with bluish-green leaves, outlined with white, and surrounded by scattered semi-abstract purple fruits, over a brownish-orange ground with a vertical, dark blue stripe under the garland of leaves. The second design is made up of a vase, colored with purple, black, and light green stripes, flanked by a semi-abstract tree with an undulating trunk and branches, colored with red and gold, and with semi-abstract leaves, colored with light green and brown, outlined with purple, over a yellow ground with small, green patches, over a black background with vertical strips of lozenges, colored with light green and outlined with purple, separated by thin, vertical, purple lines. The third design is made up of overlapping rosettes made up of large circles, outlined with thin, orange lines, and filled with purple and brown rings, and small petals, colored with light green and blue, on a white ground. The fourth design is made up of thin, red and gold vertical stripes with small, semi-abstract flowers, colored with white and silver, and semi-abstract, interlacing branches, colored with green, silver and gold, on a black ground.
