Sixteenth plate of album with 20 pochoir pattern plates, titled "Floréal: Dessins & Coloris Nouveaux" (Floreal: New Designs and Colors), created by Emile-Allain Séguy and published in Paris by A. Calavas in 1925 or earlier. The plate contains three ornamental designs, possibly for textiles or wallpapers, with lively, semi-abstract motifs inspired from nature. The first design is made up of vertical, undulating stripes, colored with dark, bluish-green, and outlined with black, containing white rectangles with bundles of semi-abstract flowers, colored with purple and orange, on an orange ground. The second design is made up of thin, vertical, undulating branches with bundles of flowers and leaves, executed with purple and dark blue, on a grayish-blue ground with thin, vertical strips of small, gray dots. The third design is made up of interlacing branches, colored with black and with white highlights, with scrolling offsets flanked by large, semi-abstract flowers, colored with shades of purple, green, silver, and gold, partially outlined with black, on a checked background made up of green and pastel yellow rectangles.
