Twentieth plate of album with 20 pochoir pattern plates, titled "Samarkande: 20 Compositions en couleurs dans le Style oriental" (Samarkand: 20 Color Compositions in the Oriental Style), created by E. A. Séguy and published in Paris by Charles Massin around 1914, presenting an ornamental design, probably for textiles or wallpapers, with semi-abstract flower motifs, inspired on the Oriental styles created by the artists of Samarkand. The design is made up of alternating rows of dark blue rectangles, framed by thin, dark blue lines with small, white spots, containing bundles of semi-abstract, purple leaves, and semi-abstract, elongated, scrolling flowers, colored with cream and white, on a burgundy-red ground.
