Raining on Manmulsang Rocks
Returned to lender
This work of art was on loan to the museum and has since been returned to its lender. In 2014 the artist painted a series of twelve scenes depicting various sites within the mountains in the four seasons. In this work he deliberately re-creates the effect of traditional ink painting in acrylic. The muted and haunting impact offers an unexpected counterpoint to the vividness of the rest of the paintings in this series.
