"The Fool" SG headstock

This work of art is currently on loan to the museum.
This is the original headstock from Eric Clapton’s famed guitar “the Fool” (on view nearby). It was removed in the 1970s when former owner Todd Rundgren, a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, restored the guitar to playing condition, replacing some heavily worn parts.
