In this London street scene, the carriage of King George III and Queen Charlotte has stopped to receive a sword being passed through the window by the Lord Mayor who is mounted on a horse. The street and windows of surrounding buildings are filled with cheering spectators. The image is contained within an octagonal frame and was published as an illustration in George Courtney Lyttleton's "History of England."
